You will be part of a team delivering a quality 2nd and 3rd line global 24/5 support service on a webshop platform supporting several individual B2B webshops. We help our customers to deliver the best possible experience for their B2B customers by supporting them to provide a quality service on 1st level support and assuring the smooth flow of data and orders between systems. Work is arranged in shifts and service is available to customer 24 hours a day on weekdays.

You will be working on our Strategic Customership where we work in close co-operation with the customer. Good communication skills and flexibility are essential in this task, but you also need wide technical expertise on the platform to be successful. You will work directly with customer project managers being the face of Solteq in daily work.

You are part of a team of support specialists and developers locally in Wroclaw and you will be in daily communication with the Finnish support specialists & developers forming a multinational development team. Essential team working skills are: understanding team member roles, taking responsibility of your tasks and not isolating yourself when solving problems, but proactively ask for help in and help others. Active communication with both the Customer and the team is the only way for the team to work.

You will start with small support tasks and when learning more about the architecture and the products on the platform you will slowly start doing backend stuff. Incrementally you will master an enterprise-level web commerce system IBM WebSphere Commerce which you are supporting to meet customer needs. You will receive formal training in ITIL based work model and get certified with IBM WebSphere Commerce. WebSphere is developed in Java, but a big part of the task is to understand how platform needs to be amended by configuration changes and extensions, thus being capable to learn the WebSphere framework, how the solution is structured, is vital in this role. It will take time to develop into an expert on this task. If you lack some of the necessary skills, you will be educated in those areas. We are looking for a good combination of skills, everything listed is at some point required, but the team will complement each other on this.


Experienced Junior with finished Master’s degree in computer science or other education but combined with relevant longer work experience. You might have earlier experience in an application support role and you are fluent in the English language with good communication skills.

  • Debugging and problem-solving skills

  • Basic understanding of JavaScript, HTML, JSP and network connection
  • SQL
  • Git
  • Very good command of English in writing and speaking

Good to have technical skills

  • Java (ability to create and read code)
  • Linux bash scripting skills
  • Experience related on automated monitoring
  • Unix expertise
  • Basic knowledge of DB2
